One I got wrong is turning off the heat if you’re away, but I live in a mild climate. No frozen pipes here!And I got the Alaska question wrong! I thought the coldest place would be somewhere in Montana, Minnesota, or Vermont. Or Maine…..
I recently read an article that said: there are identical snowflakes; although I can’t say I believe them, but that is why I missed that one . . . I chose to say there are identical ones.

Good to know that using half of an onion or potato on your windshield keeps your windshields from freezing. I am not a fan of Winter, but lived up North all my life, used to the snow, and everything Winter Season brings with it. I like learning other things that the Weather Channel keeps us informed with!

Whew!! After spending the first 26 years of my life living in Upstate N.Y., I had better have gotten a perfect score!
I got 9 out of 10 I would of had all 10 except I did not think that the population of Barrow,AL was over 5,000 people. I did get all of the difficult trick questions!
Where do we find out the answers???
The potato and onion thing is mind blowing!

Living outside of Syracuse, NY and being on the edge of the snowbelt aside from being a weather geek – Has it’s advantages !
I did NOT know that cold kills more people than heat… glad I moved south!

But I only live a couple of hundred miles east of Syracuse. I was always amazed at the amount of snow they got off the Great Lakes.
