  1. I got โ˜”๏ธ emoji. I personally would have wanted the Tornado emoji because I am fascinated by them and I love them. (Hence my name if you can guess what it means)

  2. Perfect! The thunderstorm was the emoji I chose before I began the quiz, and the thunderstorm is what I got. I love watching lightning (from a safe spot, of course). We seldom have thunderstorms, but got a real treat last month, even had a strike just a block away. KABOOOOOOM!!!!!! But I felt a little apprehensive when an electric company guy had to go up in a cherry picker to disconnect my power line at the pole because it was smoldering. He made it safely, though. Whew!

  3. Close again, but I like all weather. I love to watch storms roll in and I’m one of the few people, like Jim to have heard Thunder Snow ! People didn’t believe me when I told them it happened but since we now have it on tape, I feel vindicated !

  4. Yes, I am the Snow Cloud Emoji! I love snowflakes, and the beautiful designs created. I have a snow globe, snowflake ornaments, and etc. I do like fine designs, and make gemstone jewelry, plus embroidery. To mention, I was born in January!

  5. Partly cloudy is my emoji. Remember, โ€œNever Blame The Rainbows For The Rainโ€.
    (The Moody Blues)

  6. I got the storm cloud with the lightning bolt–SO fitting, as I’m crazy about thunderstorms and I get excited about all other forms of bad weather, too. I do really enjoy nice weather (for example, clear, dry 65-70 degree air with bright sunshine and beautiful, bold colors) . . . but it’s the adventurous stuff I really go nuts over–high wind, cold temperatures, low visibility, heavy precipitation (especially snow), and of course, lightning!

  7. NAILED IT !!!!!!!!!! You’re the storm cloud emoji! You’re independent and strong willed, and you won’t let others influence your decisions. You know the value of relaxing and taking some time for yourself, and you’re good at compartmentalizing your life.

  8. I’m a Snow Cloud ๐Ÿ™‚
I don’t think it has anything to do with whether I like winter or not – NOT.
But the description is pretty accurate.

  9. I am the rainy umbrella and it fits me well, except my plc doesn’t nรฉe to be clean at all times, just neat

  10. I got the cloud, not surprising to me; I love looking at the clouds and trying to figure out what they’re saying to me and where they’re going next. I also am waiting for a real winter here this year in the middle west.

  11. I got the snow cloud. That didn’t surprise me because I love the long winters where I live. The more snow the better!

  12. Tornado emoji? Sure, why not.

I have to say, though the choices for bedrooms were uniformly dull. Every last one was incurably modern, not to mention generic. The only real difference between them was the color palette. Next time, maybe throw in a real choice?

  13. Ha! How appropriate that I get the Tornado emoji! I am at a point in my life where I feel as though I can’t plan ahead because I am standing in front of a TORNADO. But the winds always sweep clean so, hopefully, all us tornado folks will get settled eventually. Smile!

  14. Absolutely correct as the “snow cloud.” ๐ŸŒจโ„๏ธโ›„๏ธ I have always wanted to move to the Montana mountains and experience the wilderness! Maybe even stay there! Grew up wanting to be a meteorologist but got married instead, but love ALL The Weather Channel meteorologists! Many thanks for all the fun you provide us meteorologist wannabes! ๐Ÿ‘

    1. dmclellan, I lived in Helena, Montana for four years and it was amazing. If youโ€™re considering moving there sometime, you have my recommendation.

  15. “You’re the partly cloudy emoji! You identify as a realist, meaning you have a good grip on reality and you know what you want in life. You have strong opinions, you like staying in the know, and you have a tendency to overanalyze situations.”

yeah that sounds about right. ๐Ÿ˜›

  16. I’m a sun person, should go on the Route 66 road trip and like the winter season the best. This is mostly true, but I love the fall a lot, the season I was born in.

  17. Second time around I got โ„โ›„ Snow cloud? Once again WRONG! I detest winter, and I feel trapped from first snowfall to last. What ever am I doing wrong!

  18. I got rainy umbrella. Whatever did I answer to get that? Rainy weather gets me down. I am a Fire sign and love sunshine! I have energy when it’s sunny! I curl up and disappear in rain.

  19. I got the sun emoji..bring it on,the sunnier the better! I feel so alive and happy when its sunny and warm. Thanks to the weather channel. I have been watching it a lot lately with all that’s been happening. You guys and gals have been great! Stay safe!

  20. The snow cloud is perfect! I am creative and determined! I would love to travel to Australia to visit the Aboriganian culture.

  21. Snow emoji! This is perfect for me. Really accurate description. Even though I am not a meteorologist, I am fascinated by weather and the work at the Weather Channel. If only I lived where it snows!

  22. You’re the storm cloud emoji! You’re independent and strong willed, and you won’t let others influence your decisions. You know the value of relaxing and taking some time for yourself, and you’re good at compartmentalizing your life.<< YEP! ๐Ÿ™‚

  23. ๐ŸŒžThe sun! My mood reflects the weather. Sunny days, I’m happy; cloudy or cold days I’m grumpy. Friends tell me I’m a real Pollyanna- I tend to be overly optimistic about everything & therefore I’m disappointed constantly! I love spring & summer, fall & winter not so much. That’s why I live in So. CA. it’s as close to perfect I can get in the USA.

  24. Snow Cloid?? It describes me a little bit, but I love to travel & winter is my least favorite season. Sorry, you got this one wrong! ๐Ÿ™

  25. I played this 3 different times picking a different bedroom each time, going from Purple Rain & meteorologist to Rock you like a Hurricane & journalist. And 3 times I got Partly Cloudy… How???

  26. I got the rainy umbrella emoji! I am definitely thoughtful and I do like things organized. Not sure how a rainy umbrella emoji represents thoughtfulness and cleanliness but that’s what I got.

    1. @brohde1, rain emojis represent both contemplativeness and meticulousness in a period of serenity during ominous weather. #weticons #soakingup โ˜”๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฆ

  27. Partly cloudy: I love partly cloudy weather because it might bring rainbows or beautiful electric storms, but I am not a realist because reality can be shifted. I am more of a: โ€œYou never know,โ€ than a: โ€œThatโ€™s life.โ€ I know exactly what I want in life and such through a series of reality shifts! Yes I overanalyze everything which causes me to talk to myself I wonder if thatโ€™s healthy or a little crazyโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ Delphine Tesla

  28. I absolutely ๐Ÿ’• watching rainbows every time that I watch the weather or view from my window. In fact, I get zealous when there is a double rainbow in front of my own two eyes. Believe it or not, I have witnessed a triple rainbow that garnered my attention. It was totally cool to watch. Dr. @twcerikanavarro, I believe that iridescent clouds are most associated with rainbows. Am I correct on that? Rainbows are my benevolent (favorite) weather phenomena. This quiz nailed my weather emoji. #rainbowpride ๐ŸŒˆ

  29. Wow. That’s actually perfect for me. I tend to collect/pick things that are sun-related in some way. I have always felt much happier/better when the days are sunny. I hate, truly hate, overcast and rainy days and cold weather is the bane of my existence! As for that job question, since I’m retired none of them really pique my interest for me to do. I picked meteorologist mostly because I so enjoy watching all of you, especially the guys and gals that get out in the crappiest of weather to let us see what it’s like “out there.” God bless you all, and I send my love to you all.

    1. @oldgal, I have a zealous passion for meteorology. Moreover, The Weather Channel sparked my passion for weather. In fact, I have been studying weather since I was three years old. Furthermore, I enjoy asking people questions about weather and giving the forecasts. Additionally, I am jovial to mentor my friends and colleagues on how to be safe and ready when inclement weather happens. Thus, I graciously track both severe and winter weather. Concisely, I am a weather nerd. Dr. @twcerikanavarro and Dr. @tniziol, how do you like me now based on this comment?!  #purewxgeek โ„๏ธ๐ŸŒฌ๐ŸŒจ๐ŸŒชโšก๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐ŸŒˆโ˜€๏ธ
