  1. As for the question on selecting a topic for a course to take . . . does anyone on this site actually NOT select meteorology??
So, I’m most compatible with . . . snowy conditions. Well, I think this test is TOTALLY accurate–for me, it’s not enough just to get a lot of snow in the winter; equally or even more important is keeping the snow that we get.  Bare ground in January-February is depressing. That time of year, I’m supposed to be out heading for mountain summits on snowshoes, skis, or crampons. I hope for at least 2 months of continuous cover–and preferably 3 months. When you have a good snowpack in March, with brighter sun and longer days, the skiing, snowshoeing, and winter hiking can be awesome.
And even if I’m not free to go out and play in it, I just find the outdoors a lot brighter and more beautiful when the ground is white.

  2. According to the test results and comparability, I like rainy weather (not too hot or cold), being cozy inside and alone time is best! (I would like to take a course in meteorology) with peanut butter and chocolate not on the test.

  3. Foggy weather – I don’t think so altho it’s pretty. I really love severe weather as long as no one gets hurt.

  4. A Sunny Sky makes me feel so good! Love to see happiness in everyone! The cool air or breeze can caress my face anytime when it is Sunny Conditions!

  5. You got me this time. Love Sunny Skies but not the extreme heat that comes with it. Thank you.

  6. Mine is Stormy Conditions! Haha Ya I totally get that alot! Buta, my favorite class to take is Meteorology tho! Lol

  7. Most compatible with beautiful sunshiny days, most definitely a great feeling!!!!!

  8. I hate rain 😟! Not most compatible with Rainey Conditions 😵 But I do love Rainbows 🌈

  9. You hit it on the head, so to speak ! I love storms, lightening, wind and all types of severe weather. Lightening is the most beautiful and interesting phenomenon I have ever encountered, I’ll never see enough of it ! You picked just the right picture for me !

  10. Stormy conditions. Seems right, used to climb to the top of our oak tree to watch thunderstorms roll in. Got yanked off my sailboard by lifeguards trying to catch the outflow wind of a thunderstorm when I came too close to shore.

  11. Sunny is correct! Can you please tell me where to Retire in the USA on the east coast that has cultural activities, laid back folk, good weather, no hurricanes, ocean or lakes, etc. ??? I need your opinions re: this! Thanks much!

    1. Isabelle, there really is no equitable climate on the east coast, but Long Island, New York where I live does have cultural activities, laid back people, and of course we are surrounded by water. ANd New York City is about an hour by car or train depending on where on the island you are. The weather’s not too bad fall and spring are nice summer a little but hot winter a bit cold with some snow but all in all not too bad. The north shore is really quaint like New England and the south shore is beachy like the Jersey SHore. The East End is very touristy. I love it here. Hope this helps!

  12. Wow! You nailed it. I take these types of quizzes all the time, and this is the first time I totally agree with the results.

  13. I got stormy weather but my favorite weather is cold and snow. I even want to see thundersnow here in Columbus, Ohio.

  14. Foggy conditions–yes! I like storms also. Love to visit Golden Gate Park on a foggy day–the fog drifting through the tall Monterey pines is just so-o-o-o-o mysterious and beautiful!

  15. You tend to see the sunny side of things, and you love being in the open air. Your friends can always count on you to encourage them and share your positivity! That’s me.

  16. I’m most compatible with sunny conditions: You tend to see the sunny side of things, and you love being in the open air. Your friends can always count on you to encourage them and share your positivity!

While I guess I do have that personality, sunny in Texas (especially in the summer) is too hot and I hate it!

  17. I got rainy weather! 🙂 I do like it, but not for too many days in a row or I find it depressing!

Otherwise, We Love Weather got it right. Unfortunately I live in a climate that doesn’t get enough rain. 🙁

The movie question got me, as I can only pick one but it was a tie between two.

  18. SNOW, YES! Grew up in Chicago when we had snowy winters all the time (60’s). Moved to the PAC NW and now I get to go find snow anytime of the year if I want to. Sometimes I just have to go a little farther up into the mountains 🙂 Went searching for the snowline last weekend at Iron Horse Trail up near Snoqualmie Pass.

  19. I got Sunny weather. But I knew that. That’s why I live in the SW desert area! Sunny about 330 days a year, if not more. Love it!

  20. Okay, you know what? I’m probably wrong, but all the other questions except for the candy heart question probably doesn’t matter. One second.

  21. Stormy Conditions! Hit that nail on the head, could be part of why I’m a Storm Chaser, Skywarn Spotter and Have my own Storm Tracking Team/FB page called Midwest Skywarn Storm Trackers of The Quad Cities and with SVLMedia llc.

  22. Sunny is ok, but it gets boring after a while. Love a good storm and fog rolling in from the ocean. Hail and snow are a nice change of pace if I don’t have anywhere to go. I guess I just love the weather.

  23. Hmm….that’s interesting. I’m apparently a lightning storm person. Well, that fits, really. I’ve always adored thunderstorms! I love the sun, too, though.

  24. Snowy? No way! Couldn’t be more wrong. I fled Michigan to get away from the snow and cruise the Caribbean every chance I get. Oh well…. It was fun to take the quiz anyway.

  25. I got rainy which isn’t bad except we have so many gray days here that I really prefer warm and sunny!

  26. I got stormy. That fits since I love standing outside and watching lightening while hoping to one day see the elusive sprite. Also love lightening during snow storms. In my 57 years have seen and heard it twice. Both times at night.

  27. Sunny’s gotta be my favorite, yes, but I love a good storm too! Been through 6 tornadoes, 2 hurricanes and 1 earthquake. Love me some bad weather!

  28. I can also add, sitting in front of a warm fireplace with a cold bottle of Bourbon Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout. Life is Good.

  29. This is so me, I am the person that grabs a camera when the weather gets bad, especially thunder storms, I live for thunder storms, with a lot of lightning, the more the better!!!

  30. i suppose that goes good with the blues and playing the guitar,or trying to play. plug into your favorite vintage guitar / amp and play. let the fog roll on in as it may.

  31. I got fog, very accurate! I’ve always loved mysterious and adventurous things in life!

    1. AlexisCarden, I earned exactly what you got. Both of us are the curious types who are always looking for new challenges. We enjoy learning about the world around us. Moreover, our sense of adventure leads us to discovering new passions. What a coincidence! Ha-ha! #wxpersonalitytwins 🙂

  32. Rainy conditions. I don’t mind the rain as long as it’s not too much. It’s perfect weather to snuggle though!

  33. Blizzards all the time! That even puts polluting snow removal to a halt and reverses man-made global warming

  34. Snowy condition I guess that shows well. I live in Chicago area but the snow has been sparse this year.

  35. Snow is the best!! It carries my favorite memories and even now I can’t resist going out to play in a good snowstorm.

    1. There’s a comma after “stormy”, ‘space’ between ” ,” and “having”, and the “t” in “Vt” is capitalized. 😛

    1. Stormy Conditions is so right! My preferred way to die wouldn’t be chasing a tornado… RIP from the El Reno Tornado though… 😐

    2. Well, I don’t agree with stormy weather, I love sunny to partly sunny. I guess I’m solar powered as my husband says.
