No fancy credentials or long line of impressive letters trailing after my name, merely a person with a lifelong fascination with weather that only grows the older I get. Living in Michigan, surrounded by the Great Lakes, which contributes to a unique weather climate, is probably what kicked off the interest. But it has grown in to a worldwide-wide observation and study since then.
