On June 6th, 1944, more than 160,000 allied forces stormed the beaches of France during WWII. This day would be etched into the pillars of history as D-Day. This year, as we remember the 75th Anniversary of landing on the beaches of Normandy, we look back at the forecast behind the mission and how weather prompted one of the biggest scheduling changes in modern history.
