WEST(PACIFIC) COAST EQUIVALENT OF GULF STREAM?

    • Hi maybe someone could help me out with this, we all know the immense warming power of the GULF STREAM that starts in the Gulf Of Mexico and goes over Florida and up the SouthEast coast/ seaboard and then goes kind of diagonally towards Great Britain, warming the Carribbean sea and Atlantic Ocean all of the way up to Maritime Canada. But is there an equivalent body of water on the WEST Coast? I know the Pacific coast is not as extreme in terms of ocean temperatures as the Atlantic is, but is there anything that rivals/ can compare to the Gulf Stream on the West Coast? And if so, where is it and what are its impacts? Thanks….
