Temperatures have been dropping since early this morning, and skies are overcast with strong, cold winds.  It’s not going to be a pleasant day weather-wise, but we have to expect it this time of year.  Radar this morning showed showers passing over but I saw no trace of even a sprinkle.  Maybe the air was too dry for it to reach the ground.  It’s starting to look and feel like November.

Our 11 AM temp is 52F (11C), the humidity is 70%, and skies are overcast.  Winds are from the W at 15 mph, gusting to 22 mph.  The dew point is 42F (6C) and the pressure is 29.74 in (1007.1 mb) and rising.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 67F (19C) and the overnight low was 55 (13C).  Average temps for this date are 59F/ 43F.  Sunrise was at 7:50 AM and sunset will be at 6:52 PM (EST).

      DURAND / OWOSSO FORECAST:

Today:  A chance of showers this morning.  Otherwise, mostly cloudy.  High 55F.  Winds W at 15 mph, gusting to 24 mph.  Chance of rain 30%.

Tonight:  Becoming partly cloudy to mostly clear.  Areas of frost possible.  Low 33F.  Winds 5-8 mph, gusting to 18 mph.

Friday:  Frost possible early.  Becoming mostly sunny.  High 54F.  Winds WSW at 8-13 mph, gusting to 22 mph.
