Friday produced multiple showers and thunderstorms for our state.  The rain was very badly needed following this past week of very hot, dry weather.  We received 1.28″ but some areas recorded as much as 3-4 inches.  Temperatures are expected to be more normal for the next few days, but then another bout of 90 degree weather is in the forecast.  I am not a fan of hot weather but I’ll enjoy these next few days.

Our 9:15 AM temp is 71F (22C), the humidity is 72%, and winds are from the NW at 3-10 mph.  Skies are clear and visibility is 10 miles.  The pressure is 29.79 in (1008.8 mb) and rising.  Yesterday’s high was 78F (26C) and the overnight low was 60F (16C).  Averages for this date are 82F / 59F.  Sunrise was at 6:08 AM and sunset will be at 9:15 PM.

      DURAND / OWOSSO FORECAST:

Today:  Sunny.  High 83F.  Winds NW at 11-14 mph, gusting to 23 mph.

Tonight:  Mostly clear.  Low 61F.  Winds NW at 5-10 mph, becoming light after midnight.

Sunday:  Partly sunny with increasing clouds in the afternoon.  A 30% chance of showers.  Winds NNW at 3-8 mph.

Sunday Night:  A chance of showers early, then becoming partly cloudy.  Low 60F.  Winds N at 5-7 mph.
