More Rain For Mid Michigan

      Rain is something that we don’t need, but there seems to be no end to it.  The forecast is calling for  up to an inch of precip over the next few days.  Storms formed yesterday afternoon, but all we got was a few sprinkles and it is sprinkling out right now.  Our hot weather appears to be over for now, and highs will only make it into the 60s this weekend.

      our 9:15 AM temperature is 71F (22C), the humidity is 92%, and skies are overcast with light rain.  Winds are from the SE at 2-6 mph, and the dew point is 69F (21C).  The pressure is 29.83 in (1010.2 mb) and steady. Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 85F (29C) and the overnight low was 68F (20C).  Average temps for this date are 70F / 50F.


      Today:  Scattered thunderstorms becoming more numerous by evening.  High 77F.  Winds S at 10-15 mph.  Chance of rain 80%. Expected rain amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch.

      Tonight:  Showers and thunderstorms likely.  Low 63F.  Winds SW at 5-10 mph.  Chance of rain 60%.  New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half an inch.

      Friday:  Cloudy with periods of rain.    High 69F.  Winds NW at 5-10 mph.  Chance of rain 80%.  Rainfall amounts less than tenth of an inch.

      Friday night:  Becoming partly cloudy.  Low 50F.  Winds NW at 5-10 mph.
