Yesterday was damp and cool with our high not even reaching 70°. We had a rain shower, which left 0.23″ in my rain gauge, around noon. The remainder of the day was cloudy with very few peeks of the sun. I don’t think today is going to be much better although there is no rain in the forecast and temperatures should be a little warmer. We are beginning to see some color in the trees and bushes and I’m hoping that there is more up north when we take our last trip to the campground in two weeks.

Way too soon, it seems to me, to be getting so chilly and for color to start making an appearance – but then, Fall always comes along way too soon and early for me. I’m sure you’ll have plenty of color for your last northern trek.
