Yesterday wasn’t a bad day although a bit windy.  We didn’t see much sun but temperatures were quite mild.  Today will be a bit cooler with highs only expected in the mid 60s.  We are starting to see a little color in the trees and bushes now and there is a heavy dew every morning.  It won’t be long until that heavy dew will be frost.  The flower gardens are losing their color and the vegetable garden is almost done except for the tomatoes. This has been a great year for tomatoes although I didn’t get much squash from my plants.  I’m not ready for winter yet and it’s hard to believe that Christmas is just a few months from now.  I can’t believe that summer is over already.

Our 10:30 AM temp is 57F (14C), the humidity is 81%, and skies are cloudy.  Winds are from the NW at 1-6 mph and the dew point is 52F (11C).  The pressure is 30.25 in (1024.4 mb) and rising   Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 71F (22C) and the overnight low was 49F (9C).  Sunrise was at 7:15 AM and sunset will be at 7:46 PM.

      DURAND / OWOSSO FORECAST:

Today:  Mostly sunny.  High 64F (18C).  Winds NNE at 5-9 mph.

      Tonight:  Clear.  Low 47F (8C).

Tuesday:  Mostly sunny.  High 73F (22C).  Winds SSW at 7-11 mph, gusting to 18 mph.
