iPhone weather app and Weather Channel air quality – inconsistent readings

Hello – why does the weather app on my iPhone (which gets its information from the Weather Channel) state the air quality in Carpinteria, CA is ‘good’ at 28 and then when I go to the Weather Channel website it states that the air quality in Carpinteria, CA  is ‘unhealthy’ at 169?  CA has raging wildfires and smoke is everywhere. I wanted to take my family to a place to get a break for a day but the information on air quality is inconsistent – please explain.

Hi @marisat, The Weather Channel app is run by the folks over at weather.com. If you want to report an issue with the app, your best bet is probably support.weather.com
