      my husband thinks if dynamite is dropped in the middle of the hurricane it could stop it. I disagree. help?

      You are right about that.  Both land interaction and wind shear can weaken a hurricane but not stop it altogether.  Dynamite has NOTHING to do with hurricanes.  Your hubby must have drunk too much cognac mixed with White Russian (aka collusion).  #drunkfromhurricanetalk 🌬💨🌊🍸🇷🇺

      Climate change ( warming ) may be making Atlantic hurricanes weaker on average.  It also may be reducing their forward speed.
