This morning is dark and dreary with a few stray raindrops adding to the mix.  The forecast is calling for a little sun this afternoon and I hope that it happens.  The days are becoming noticeably shorter and it is totally dark now by 8:30 PM.  These past few days have been chilly but our forecast is calling for hot temps for the end of the week.  Maybe that will be summer’s last hurrah but I hope not.  I’m just not ready for cold weather yet.  We waited so long for it to warm up this year and the duration was just too short.  But it is what it is and we’ll deal with it.

Our 10:45 AM temperature is 55°F (13°C), the humidity is 83%, and skies are overcast.  Winds are from the north at 3 mph and the pressure is 30.31 in (1026.4 mb) and rising.  Visibility is 10 miles. and the dew point is 53°F (12°C).  Yesterday’s high was 68°F (20°C) and the overnight low was 55°F (13°C).  Averages for this date are 77°F / 54°F.  Sunrise was at 7:09 AM and sunset will be at 7:57 PM.

    DURAND / OWOSSO FORECAST:

    Today
Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. East wind around 6 mph.
    Tonight
Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. East wind 5 to 9 mph.
    Tuesday
Partly sunny, with a high near 86. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.
